Dads and Moms teaching children character education,
virtues and integrity is key to their success in life!
Meet The Be Wise Bears
Hi, I am Diligence, but everyone calls me Dilly Bear. I am a very smart bear. Dads
and Moms teaching their children to be smart by reading stories and always reminding them about the lessons in the stories is very important. My Moms( I call my Mommy "Moms") and Daddy call it character education. There are many character education lessons about my name Diligence. Diligence means:
1. Working to finish what I start
2. To do my best and to do it right
3. It also means to keep working even if it gets difficult.
Dad and Moms teaching character education lessons about diligence is very important. It is one of the most important things your parents can teach you. Moms and Daddy say "instilling the character of diligence" in me. Dads and Moms teaching why it is important and also telling stories about real people that did not practice dilligence helps us to be wise and diligent. Stories about how it caused them so many problems helps me to want to be diligent and not have those problems.
I love the stories about the people that practice diligence. I want to be like them. Dads and Moms teaching reminds me it seems like those people had lots of reasons to quit but because they did not then all kinds of special things started to happen. I am very proud of my name and my Dad and Moms teaching too!
My Brother True Bear And His Friends
I have a twin brother. He is smart too.
Well actually my parents say that

Every time they read us a story Dad and Moms teaching pointed out a lesson to help us to be wise. That is why me and my friends are called Be Wise Bears. Mom and Dad started with these books when we were really little.

Dad And Moms Teaching Was Not About:
Reading♦ Writing ♦ Arithmetic
Those things are learned in school even though they helped me with those subjects. Dad and Moms teaching these stories taught us about being smart with people and being smart with myself. Moms and Daddy said they learned these lessons from their Mommy and Daddy and by reading about other smart people's lifes and stories. Note To Parents: Veggie Tales are great for teaching young ones some of life's wisdom lessons.Check them out.
My Dad And Moms Teaching Comes From Many Favorite Books.
Their most favorite is the Bible. Inside the Bible is a special book called Proverbs. Christian people, Jewish people and many other faiths help Dads and Moms teaching their children wisdom from this book called Proverbs. Most of the lessons from Daddy and Moms teaching are from Proverbs but the stories are from books people wrote and we learn from their experiences about being wise and acting right.
Moms Teaching About Choosing Friends
She said in Proverbs 13:20 there was something about choosing friends. The lesson was people who are friends with wise people will be wise, but the friend of fools will suffer harm by learning their ways of thinking and be involved in their dumb decisions. Then she read me and True Bear stories about people that got introuble choosing fools for friends and even went to prison. She also read me stories about people that walked away from trouble makers because they listened to their Dad and Moms teaching.
When we do a really good job being wise we turn beautiful colors like this picture
above. Isn't that cool? I think we are beautiful no matter what color we are. People are like that too, all different colors and all very beautiful.
I can't wait for you to be smart too! Most of the times the lessons are hard to learn because it is not easy to behave the way the stories teach me. I really want to do it my way but that is usually not the smart way. I am only a little bear and the stories teach me how to be smart and think smart.Dad and Moms teaching me really helps me to wise. I hope you join the Be Wise Bear Club and try to learn the lessons and behave smart too!
This is my very best friend. Her name is High End Baby. That is her name because
her Mommy and Daddy taught her to be wise in her decisions and actions. She was also taught lots of things about being smart with money. She learned that the really good stuff that people call "high end" lasts longer and she can even sell it again because so many other people like the "high end" stuff too. Her mommy taught her that she can always find lots of things like high end cloths, high end shoes and high end handbags for way less money than some people pay. Well any way that is why her name is High End Baby.
We live at her house. She is all grown up now.She was just a baby when we came to live with her at her Mommy and Daddy's house. Isn't she pretty? She is very smart too. She knows all the lessons and does a good job behaving wisely with her decisions and with her money. That is me with her in the picture.
I want you to meet my other friends too!
